FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does HydraFacial work?
Before the procedure begins at Allure Clinic, the skin is prepared by cleansing and removing any makeup. The first stage involves exfoliation to assist with removing surface debris and dead skin cells.
In the next stage, a peel is applied to the skin and is followed by an extraction process that uses a gentle vacuum to help remove debris from the skin’s surface and pores. The final stage involves the application of a hydrating serum that contains nutrients and antioxidants.
A HydraFacial session usually takes around 45 minutes. Based on individual assessment, other treatments may be discussed and planned separately.
A series of treatments may be recommended as part of a broader skin care plan. Maintenance sessions can also be considered at intervals discussed during consultation.
How long do HydraFacial results tend to last?
The effects of HydraFacial vary between patients. Some changes may be visible shortly after treatment and regular treatments may help to maintain the results.
Ongoing sessions may be considered as part of a skin care plan, depending on individual skin condition and goals. This is reviewed during the consultation to determine an appropriate schedule.
How do I know if this treatment is suitable?
Suitability for HydraFacial is determined during a consultation. The Practitioner assesses the skin type and condition before recommending whether this procedure may be appropriate.
HydraFacial may be considered for patients seeking a deep cleansing treatment that also exfoliates and hydrates the skin. It may also be discussed as an option for those who are not suitable for other skin treatments.
