How do Nd-YAG Vascular Treatments Work?
Before going ahead with your treatment, you will need to consult with a clinician at the Allure Clinic in Toowoomba. Thereafter, a numbing cream is applied to make the treatment more comfortable – eye protection will also be provided before the treatment commences.
Next, your clinician will select the appropriate setting and start moving the handpiece over the area of concern. What to Expect after an Nd-YAG Vascular treatment
Patients should start to see a noticeable difference a week after their treatment but in most instances, it can take several months to see the full effects of your sessions. Depending on the severity of the veins, some patients may require multiple treatments to achieve their desired results – treatments should be spaced four to six weeks apart. Anyone who struggles with excessive blood vessels may also develop new vessels, which will need to be treated in the future. This is mainly due to genetics and lifestyle habits.
