The ThermiVa treatment can offer a solution for the woman in need of rejuvenation to her most intimate of areas. The ThermiVA system uses radio frequency energy that gently warms the tissue in order to rejuvenate collagen. This is done without discomfort or need for downtime.
The treatment is used both internally and externally to tighten tissues. This can result in improvements in vaginal laxity, urinary frequency and also increased vaginal lubrication. The external vaginal tissues can also be treated. ThermiVa is currently the only treatment that can treat patients both internally and externally.

Am I a candidate for the ThermiVa treatment?
Not every woman will find that the ThermiVa is the right treatment option to treat her concerns. Those who experience any of the following symptoms, however, may be a good candidate for ThermiVa treatments.
- Experience discomfort during intercourse, with accompanying dryness
- Dryness of the vagina or labia (atrophic vaginitis), as a result of menopause
- Frequent urinary leaking or feeling a sense of urgency not related to other health concerns
- Vaginal laxity, including a loose or rubbing feeling. This may involve the labia majora (outer lips of the vagina).
- Unhappiness with the appearance of your labia majora, especially when wearing swim suits, athletic attire, leggings, jeans etc.
- Experience sexual dysfunction or orgasmic issues not related to other health concerns
- Difficulty retaining tampons
- Pelvis prolapse
How many treatments will I need?
The average patients typically requires three treatments, spaced one month apart. When you undergo treatment at Allure Clinic, your treatment is performed by our female ThermiVa practitioners, who are Registered Nurses. Your comfort, privacy and confidentiality are assured.
When can I begin ThermiVa treatments?
Treatments can be started as soon as 6 weeks after an uncomplicated vaginal delivery. The treatment is safe for breastfeeding mothers. You will need to have had a recent pap smear (within two years) before commencing treatment. Some minor preparation will be required before coming in for your first treatment.

Is there any downtime?
After the treatment, you can resume normal daily activities. Once you have completed the course of treatment, it may be recommended that you commence a maintenance program from six months onwards. This will, however, depend on your primary area of concern.
