Gone are the days of the Nescafe International Roast tin and the sexy Moccona man. It’s not just a delicious drink that warms us up on cold days, provides the perfect pick me up after a big night, big meeting or 3.30pm slump. Today coffee is much, much, more. Is it freshly ground? Ethically sourced? Too hot? Not hot enough? Latte, flat white, single or double shot. However you like it and for whatever reason check out these top six spots for coffee in Toowoomba.

What makes a great coffee?
Everyone knows a great coffee is all about the beans and the barista. The B team. Both have to be equally great. A bad barista can ruin your favourite blend and the best barista cannot beautify a bad bean. Ultimately coffee comes down to personal taste, likes and dislikes.

The top six list is based on local knowledge and customer reviews. They are listed according to their Beanhunter* rating.

1. GROUND UP
8.9 BEAN HUNTER

“Finally, a barista who knows his stuff. Doppio lungo single origin to die for. Is it any wonder you get an 8.9 on bean hunter!” wrote one happy Beanhunter reviewer.

Rumour has it the Guilty Pleasure is a crowd favourite; a warm croissant, Nutella and strawberries. Um….yum!!
